Adam Bauer

Adam Bauer is a kirtan leader, bassist, and songwriter whose path in devotional music began with many years playing bass for sacred chant pioneer Krishna Das, and later with Bhakti yoga teacher Shyamdas. Stepping forward as a leader in his own right, he released the albums 'Shyam Lila' and 'Wonderville', produced with a warm, roots-Americana sensibility that makes ancient mantra feel like an old friend. Based in western Massachusetts, he tours kirtan and mantra music across the U.S., Europe, and beyond, weaving chant with storytelling, humor, and heart. His gatherings are known for their intimacy — less performance than shared practice.
