Bhakti Bringa Govinda Swami, known affectionately as B.B. Govinda Swami, is a Memphis-born sannyasi and spiritual teacher in the Gaudiya Vaishnava tradition. Famous for his deeply soulful, emotive kirtan, he has spent decades serving communities across Central Asia and the former Soviet republics, as well as leading kirtan at major festivals worldwide. His recordings and live chanting are cherished for their heartfelt intensity and their call to absorption in the holy name.
