C.C. White

C.C. White, known as the "Queen of Soul Kirtan," blends kirtan with the gospel, soul, and R&B traditions she was raised in. Classically trained at the Sewell Conservatory of Music and the Peabody Conservatory, she spent years as a professional vocalist before dedicating her voice to devotional music. Her signature style — captured on the album This IS Soul Kirtan! — brings a joyous, full-hearted soul revue energy to the chant, and she is a beloved presence at Bhakti Fest and kirtan festivals across the US.
