Luna Ray

Kristin "Luna" Ray is an Asheville-based kirtan musician, recording artist, yoga teacher and somatic experiencing practitioner who has spent more than two decades weaving mantra, music and yoga. Deeply devoted to bhakti yoga and influenced by teachers including Krishna Das, Ram Dass and Russill Paul, she has recorded and co-produced three albums featuring guests such as Wah!, Girish and David Newman, including the world-music kirtan album One Shared Heart (2012), distributed by Spirit Voyage. Luna leads kirtan and offers music within yoga classes, festivals and studios across the eastern United States, guides Bhakti immersions for women, and teaches mantra and chant within yoga teacher trainings, appearing at gatherings such as the LoveShinePlay Festival in Asheville.
