About this Gathering
The 50th annual Festival of the Chariots — three towering chariots pulled by hand from Santa Monica down to Venice Beach, with continuous kirtan along the route, followed by a free feast and festival village on the beach. A Kirtan Mela evening precedes it on Saturday, August 1.
