Moola Mantra

Om Sat-Chit-Ananda Parabrahma, Purushothama Paramatma, Sri Bhagavati Sametha, Sri Bhagavate Namaha, Hari Om Tat Sat

"A salutation to the supreme, blissful consciousness present in all creation"

Full Translation

The Moola ("root") Mantra is a salutation to the absolute divine in its fullness. It names truth, consciousness, and bliss (Sat-Chit-Ananda), the formless supreme (Parabrahma), the divine made manifest (Purushottama), the soul within all (Paramatma), and the inseparable feminine and masculine aspects of the divine (Bhagavati and Bhagavate), sealing it with "Hari Om Tat Sat" — an affirmation of the one ultimate reality.
