Full Translation
The healing mantra of the Medicine Buddha (Bhaishajyaguru), the blue-hued Buddha of medicine and healing. Chanted in its short Tibetan-pronounced form, it is a prayer to dispel the pain of illness — both physical sickness and the deeper "illness" of spiritual ignorance — and is used in Tibetan Buddhist practice for the sick, the dying, and for blessing medicine and water.
