Aykanna is the husband-and-wife duo of Sukhdev Jackson and Grammy-nominated percussionist Akah Jackson, known for soulful, percussion-driven sacred music and wisdom teachings. The name Aykanna translates as a link between heaven and earth — a fitting image for music that blends the deep roots of sacred chant traditions with the spirit of earth-honoring healing practices.
Their inspirational, rhythm-forward songs reach beyond the boundaries of kirtan and new age music, and they share their music and teach Kundalini Yoga internationally across the US, Central America, and Europe.
