Sheela Bringi

Sheela Bringi is an Indian-American vocalist and multi-instrumentalist who brings together the Western harp, the bansuri flute, and the devotional songs of her South Indian heritage. Raised in Colorado in a family steeped in Indian sacred music, she studied at CalArts and with masters in both Indian and Western traditions. Her albums 'Incantations' and 'Shakti Sutra' blend mantra, raga, and harp into a sound entirely her own, and she performs and teaches at festivals, retreats, and sacred music gatherings across the country.
