Definition

The "Song of God" — a seven-hundred-verse conversation between Krishna and the warrior Arjuna on the eve of battle, and India's most beloved spiritual text. It maps the great paths of yoga, teaching that devotion (bhakti) — remembering the Divine with love, in the middle of ordinary life — is open to everyone. It is the wellspring of the Bhakti path that kirtan sings.
