Shantala is the musical partnership of Benjy and Heather Wertheimer, a husband-and-wife duo celebrated for their lush, intimate kirtan. Benjy, a multi-instrumentalist and longtime collaborator with Krishna Das, layers esraj, tabla, and guitar beneath Heather's soaring vocals. Their music has made them one of the most beloved acts in the Western chant world.
