Full Translation

The Gayatri Mantra is one of the oldest and most revered mantras in Hinduism, appearing in the Rig Veda. It is a prayer to Savitar, the solar deity, asking for the illumination of our intellect and the awakening of spiritual wisdom.

Spiritual Significance

Traditionally chanted at sunrise, midday, and sunset, the Gayatri is considered the mother of all mantras. It is both a meditation on the divine light of consciousness and a prayer for inner clarity and wisdom.
