Full Translation

Jai Ma is a simple, heartfelt salutation to the Divine Mother in all her forms — Durga, Kali, Lakshmi, Saraswati, and the universal feminine principle. In Kirtan, it is often chanted as a spontaneous cry of devotion and surrender.

Chanting Jai Ma opens the heart to the loving, fierce, and nourishing aspects of the Divine. It is a direct invocation of the Shakti — the primordial creative energy — and an act of surrender to the Great Mother.
