Nina Rao

Nina Rao learned the songs of her grandfather's village in South India as a child and has spent decades as a keeper and teacher of that chant lineage. Best known as Krishna Das's longtime collaborator and business manager, she leads kirtan with a grounded, devotional warmth all her own. Her album 'Antaryaami: Knower of All Hearts' showcases her deep repertoire of traditional chants, and she teaches the practice of chanting as a path of the heart at retreats and workshops worldwide.
